The 70-year-old icon, known for his dynamic roles in movies like Rumble in the Bronx, the Rush Hour trilogy, Shanghai Noon, and Kung Fu Panda, took to social media to address the worries surrounding his health.

Fans noticed that Jackie Chan’s once jet-black hair had turned gray, and his beard had also taken on a snowy hue. Speculation about his well-being spread like wildfire. However, the actor has now set the record straight.

In an Instagram post celebrating his 70th birthday, Jackie Chan shared throwback images and reassured his fans. He wrote, “Even before today, many friends have been reminding me: ‘Jackie, it’s going to be your 70th birthday!’ Every time I hear this number, my heart would stop for a second l’m 70 years old already? After recovering from the shock, the second thing that would come to my mind is a saying that my big brother, Sammo Hung, once said: ‘Being able to grow old is a fortunate thing.’”

Jackie Chan explained that his current appearance is “just a character appearance” for his upcoming movie. The role requires him to have white hair, a white beard, and an aged look. He emphasized that over the years, he has always been willing to try new things for a film, whether it’s daring stunts or transforming his appearance.

The martial arts legend expressed gratitude for his 62-year-long entertainment career. He cherishes every moment because, as he put it, “I’m lucky I’m still filming today.” Looking back at the photos, he reminisced about fond memories and concluded, “All I can say is: I love making movies, and I love you all.”
